Name: Andrea Sinderson
Please tell us a little about yourself and what drew you to virtual training/coaching.
I started training years ago, with in-person sessions but once COVID hit I decided to go to virtual training (with local gym trainer). Once things got a little better with the COVID situation I went back to the gym again, only to decide that I really did like the convenience of virtual training. Then in steps Jessica who has been so awesome to work with. From my first Zoom meet & greet with her, I felt totally comfortable. I didn’t know what to expect or if I was going to like working with a different trainer but I have been happy since my first virtual training session with Jessica.
What do you do when you're not virtually training with Begin Within?
When I am not training I enjoy spending time with my husband and 5 year old daughter. We love to be outdoors and try to get at least one hike in a weekend…when Wisconsin weather allows! I also enjoy cooking, baking, and making crafts with my daughter.
Tell us about your time with us, your goals, and results you have experienced so far.
My time with Begin Within has been nothing but positive. I started training in hopes to build more muscle and become stronger overall, which I have been slowly achieving. I have also seen an increase in energy thanks to working out on a regular basis.
The one thing that I have done since starting with Begin Within is actual push-ups. I know, doesn’t sound like much but I was so proud of myself the first day I pushed myself to try and actually succeeded.
What is your favorite part about working with us?
My favorite part of virtual training is working out with Jessica and the great group of ladies that I have regular sessions with. It is a very comfortable setting where you don’t feel pressured, or like a failure if you have to speak up because an exercise is not working for you.
What is something on your "bucket list" - fitness or non-fitness related?
I honestly haven’t put much thought into my “bucket list” but as for something I would like to happen in the next year or two is to take our daughter on a vacation and get her to the ocean now that she is old enough to fully enjoy.
What would your advice be to somebody who is nervous about virtual training and/or nutrition services with Begin Within?
For anyone who may be nervous about working with Begin Within, don’t be. The training you get at home is just as one-on-one as it would be if I were to go to the gym. The workouts are hard (in a good way) and are different each session so you never get tired of doing the same thing. Jessica is very friendly, patient, and understanding and takes all clients into account when explaining the workout. You will never be forced to do something you don’t feel comfortable with. I couldn’t be happier with my virtual training and wish that I could afford to do it every day!
